252. An early South African club with a finely fluted head and rich, ancient patina. Probably mid 19th century. The British Museum has a related example it describes as Xhosa Galeka? The Galeka were a sub group of the Xhosa now extinct.

73cm long , the head is 7.5cm diameter.
