Shell Discs
A group of Kesa shell rings in their original wrapping. These were used as currency. The missionary, Father Binois who collected several of these in situ around 1900 said that they were used in bride price. It has been suggested that they were made from fossilised Tridacna shell.
Each is 5cm deep and very thin and delicate.
