Stones
311. A group of Saharan prehistoric stone artefacts including spheres, ear and lip plugs formed using abrasion and stone tools. It is theorised that the balls were gaming pieces but some consider them to have been connected with burials where they were placed in the mouth of the body. The plugs are made of cornaline, rock crystal and quartz.
